The news of the day, writers and readers, it seems to be this: Gargoyle Books publisher becomes a "dual track". That is, in addition to the normal editorial well managed for years, will assess the publication with contributions of money from the author.
The news bounced a bit 'everywhere, I will report a summary article, which also shows what appears to be the official declaration of Simone De Crescenzo, the "boss" of GB.
In the past I have repeatedly spoken highly of Gargoyle and I reviewed many of their books, almost always positively. Since I am very proud of the freedom of this corner of the blog, I feel duty-bound to continue talking about Gargoyle even when things concerning it are far less noble.
Each face due consideration. You know what I think about certain, things, needless repetition or arm a crusade. If anything, there would have to do more serious analysis (and much sadder) on the general state of Italian.

Update 17:30: The Gargoyle published this denial. Apparently the tam-tam of news and negative feedback (often offensive) has made clear every project to launch a "necklace with contribution" by Paolo De Crescenzo, editorial director of GB. The
